Recycled Plastic Globe Pendant

$159.00

Sustainable ceiling light made from 100% recycled plastic.  Available in gold or charcoal.  This light is perfect for kitchens and bathrooms.

These lights are made from recycled plastic material and other waste streams of exceptional quality. We work with plastic bottles, yogurt containers, plant pots, and food packaging.

Our plastics are man-made with 100% recycled materials.  We ground the plastic into pellets, and then heat and mold them. This forms a hard surface that is durable and non-porous.  Plastic surfaces offers low maintenance appeal while being sustainable.

LEED

The LEED Green Building Rating System, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy, is a voluntary standard for developing environmentally responsible, low emission, high-performance, sustainable buildings.  LEED certification is for the entire construction project.  Materials and products used in buildings are not individually certified.  Through a rigorous process of third-party verification by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) the project earns points towards achieving a particular level of certification (Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum).

Because this product uses recycled content, they may qualify for numerous LEED points in the selected categories of Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, and potentially Innovation in Design.

  • MR 4.1/4.2: Recycled Content (1-2 points)
  • MR 5.1/5.2: Regional Materials (2 points)
  • MR 4.0
